Thought it would be a cool idea to go down either for a 1 day or weekend trip and watch the action.
This was their last years competition >> CLICKY
Maybe we could incorporate some spectating with some 4x4 fun of our own too. Some of you might be interested in entering the Mud Run Competition which your average 4x4 should be able to handle... details for that are below.
DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS....
Date: 11th/12th September 2010
Pingelly just South of Brookton
Spectator Costs:
Day Pass (age 15 and up) $25
Two Day Pass (age 15 and up) $40
Family Pass One Day (2+2 children ) $60
Family Two Day Pass (2+2 children) $100
Child Single Day $10
Child Two Day $15
Camping fee is $10
Important Information On Camping
Camping: is available for all
Other Options: Laze Away Caravan Park
Competitor Camping : This area is for competitors and their crew ONLY This is a lock-down area and campers not wearing the correct wristband will be removed.
Security : Security staff will be walking around , with the local police also frequenting the event all weekend. Any fighting, theft, rowdy behaviour or illegal activities will not be tolerated.
Pets: No pets - no excuses
Alcohol : This year will be alcohol free on Friday night and a bar will be provided on the Saturday night but no BYO. Any alcohol will have to be surrendered at the gate. We reserve the right to refuse entry of any person wishing to abuse these restrictions. Don’t get any smart ideas thinking that you will be allowed to exit the grounds to return with more alcohol, we will have security on the exit gate monitoring all vehicle movements
Gate : The gate will be closed at 10pm Friday night and 6pm Saturday night and will not be opened for any one unless you have made arrangements
Police & Security
Security staff levels have been dramatically increased this year, with the local police also frequenting the event all weekend.
Orders by Security Staff are to be obeyed at all times and fighting, theft, rowdy behaviour and illegal activities will not be tolerated
Vehicle Movement: No vehicles are to be moved unless entering or leaving the property. No excuses. Remember that if you have been drinking alcohol and get in your car to drive, Police will have full power to charge you for DUI. Don’t Do It.
*Anyone found to be breaking any of the event rules; you will be escorted and evicted from the event or even arrested by police.
Absolutely no fire arms or fire works are allowed. No vehicles are to be moved during the weekend besides entering or leaving the property. Any person found breaking any of the rules will be escorted from the property
Please bring your own drinking and washing water as it is a rural property. All camp sites have no power so if you need power please supply your own. We provide the best portable toilet. Most basic needs are available at local towns or a short drive into Pingelly

Falafel Kebab with lettuce,tomato and onion
Chicken Kebab with lettuce,tomato and onion

Sour cream,tomato,sweetchilli,garlic,mayo.chilli,satay or BBQ
Cold Drinks will be available
Gates Open: Friday the 10th at 1pm close 10pm and Saturday the 11th at 7.00am

2010 MUD RUN COMPETITION
This year we are having a mud run for your daily driver, this is for the people who don't want to put their rig on the rocks but still want to be part of the comp scene, all you need is a licensed 4x4 and a current drivers licence, entry fee is $30 + $10 for a hose down of your car. This will be on the Saturday evening,1st prize is set of 4 maxxis 33 bighorns.

Im sure there will be a spare backseat if you wanna go.hell yeah! That looks awesome! I still dont have my 4WD though, nor will I for a while
If people want to come but dont have their own 4x4, let me know and I can try and organise a ride for you in someone elses 4x4. Depending on what we plan for the weekend it may even be possible to drive your cars out to come and spectate.
Anyway just let me know if your interested and what you think you might like to do for the weekend and I will do my best to make it happen.

There may be an entry fee, I will find out more details as the time approaches.

Still havent found out any more info in regards to any spectator / camping fees but will remind myself to do so. Should be a really good weekend. If you can yet your crew know that would be awesome.
