Sounds good, I believe there was a similar thing with the SAUWA dyno day and Autoworx didn't have a problem with it so it should be ok.

Try Allstar Garage and Hyperdrive as well Jess, they may be able to work something out for us :)

His face? Yeah I have! Lol.

AllStar and Hyperdrive might not be so willing as it doesn't bring enough money in for them to justify working on a Sunday. But definitely worth a shot!
Sausage sizzle is a good idea too, I get hungry easily... :teehee:

Yeh, but I don't see why Autoworx would be anymore willing, it's the same story for them?

This may work out perfectly for me, although I'm gonna have to rack up the kms in the first couple of weeks when I get my car back to get off the run-in tune. But if all works out well I should have all my mods bolted on and I'll be able to compare power figures and the curve to when my car was NA and when it was on the dyno with KYP.

I'm guessing a run to geraldton isn't good for it, does it need variation in RPM?

Yeh you gotta just drive it lots. Can't just go for a big drive.

It's not a problem, I will be getting used to the car still so I have no intention of thrashing it. And I will definitely be driving it lots lol.

My mates 9 second GTR was run in with a trip to Kalbarri, so it's not too bad for it.

Also Martin, Autoworx is shit. My mate went in to get some cams installed and have a ViPec put it. Got it back 10 months later, they needed to rebuild half the engine cos they fucked it up then when given to C-Red to fix the tune in the ViPec, they discovered it was so shit they had to delete it completely and start again.
It's this shit that keeps customers away, so they'll take work where ever possible.

Exactly! Why I'll put it on their dyno, but anything else they can shove it up their arse!

Well actually at that dyno day we did with SAUWA, they ran one of the cars without the fan... I was a bit iffy on that but didn't really know any better at the time, glad it wasn't mine :P

They are shite I know, I don't like them. But they are still a busy workshop. Perhaps a bit less busy than Hyperdrive/ASG, but I wouldn't say so much so that they will get down on their knees and beg for business. They weren't interested in talking to me when I asked if they would do my conversion...

Allstar Garage is no god for a dyno day, not enough room (particularly in the shed where the dyno is) and it is a hub dyno, I think we'd rather a rolling dyno.

Fair enough, never been to ASG so dunno what their setup is like. Well same goes for anyone, I've only ever been to Autoworx :P But I wouldn't describe Autoworx as having lots of parking either... It's just because you can park on the street.

Autoworx are fine for what we want to do so if we can get hold of them then perfect. But if we are going to spend 2 months just trying to contact Alistair then we should maybe look into other places?
