Todays accumulation of parts.
Hobbs switch, so intercooler spray will come on automatically on 8psi+ with a manual overide in the dash(foglight switch)
6spd exedy hd organic clutch
turbo beanie

But need different rims to clear the brembos, which to keep it legal and avoid using dogbones requires a R180 rear end(hubs, shafts, diff) which is stronger so no more breaking shafts.
Cost is going thru the roof! got another 5k of parts to get before the 6spd can go in.
Plus 1k minimum on rims and 2k on tyres(r comps this time round)
5spd is going in temporarily until I have found parts.

Someone buy my rims, one of 2 pairs of ame by enkeis in aus, other pair is on an fd rx7. 5x100pcd

I have a R180 diff here NON LSD, 3.9 if you want. You'd want LSD though yeah?

are you running R160 rear end atm? R160 LSD?

sounds like an expensive build, u should put a new front bumper on the list.
with those agressive style headlights it really looks like something is missing/out of place.
better front bumper with fmic would set it off 1 million times better imo

Yeah mate, front bumper is on the cards. Looking at zero sports or later model front end with front lip.
Front mount will come later when i build the motor. Could possibly go for a process west V-Mount setup.

Martin, inverted front mount or v mount is the only way to go when you reverse the manifold...
Socs, just the type of pack inside the diff. Im unsure if they are the same housings. I will find out

my one has a K on the top of it, long nose
original 1978 diff from a C210 coupe, pinion bearings are done, maybe half shafts are a bit shited as well.

As it is right now the car is fairly legal.
Rear tyres are wrecked and the cars fairly low but apart from that its all good

Yeeeh cars gonna be running within a week, RWD 5 speed, cant afford 6sp for a bit, capstone fees for tafe are $1100, Trade ticket is my priority at the moment....

Just read this post. Impressive build you got going there. The 6sp conversion will definitely be a good one once it is done. My mate did it in his old gc8 and it can really take a beating. Just got a GC8 myself and recently joined the subaru family. Good times ahead

Update,
Motor is now out and sold pending payment.
Gearbox and rest of driveline is for sale.
Will be asking for advice and letting Maximum Motorport choose which engine package I get.
Definately keeping the car and I think I might have it resprayed black.
