They DO look different from real rays. There is a red Evo with bronze Rota style TE37's that always goes next door for tyres, just doesn't look right, too curvy, tries too hard to be concave. If you like them cool, but I wouldn't put them on my car.
Help choosing new wheels!!!

i would prefer nice chunky spoked wheels on an R34, i voted the first picture. with some epic offset's on them, rolled guards, stretched tires, will be porn.
edit: lol woops.. 50 year old thread sorry

You always hear rotas crack or breaking, but i haven't seen any rotas break locally. I just like to think they have improved their quality. You always used to see older threads about them. Now days you don't see many people breaking them, or just the fact no one buys them anymore. They are pretty good if you're on a tight budget, but would recommend better brands if you are actually taking your car to the track/racing.
Personally i would buy them for my daily or even just to roll around on for my weekend cars, but i would stretch my wallet just for some quality assurance and more street credit with the branded wheels.
So im thinking of getting some rotas for my s15 if i cant find the right size and offset work emotion cr kais for a nice price.
