Any wheel can break, it depends what you do with it. My car is a streeter, the most intense track work it sees is on the skid pan. The guy i would be buying these Rota's off is a member on SAU, he has a set on his R32 drift car, he told me he has done 100s of laps on these wheels, even slapped a curb and they didn't dent or shatter, just chipped the paint. He is a business trader with plenty of good feedback so i take his word for it.

There are no curbs on race tracks Those wheels have bent as a result of a huge accident, I've seen wheel like that and it will happen.
My mate had cheap ROTA-spec wheels... Hit a curb and shattered one! I wouldn't trust them at all

That Enkei wheel wasn't in an accident, it was curbed. Same as the Maya wheel. Fact is, wheels brake. Fair enough forged wheels are stronger but they are still not indestructible. If you're gonna hit curbs, you shouldn't be driving. I've never curbed my car in the 2 and a half years I've had my license, I don't see it as a problem

Tyres yes, wheels i can't see how unless you don't look after them. If you are worried about wheels breaking then you should probably just get some 4x4 steelies, because i guarantee Japanese wheels will break if you don't look after them.

Lol, look at the cars! They're all worth something, but not all Japanese. The chance of them all having the same wheels but different PCDs kinda rule out the genuine Jap wheel option. Plus if they were genuine, they're have centre caps and stickers. None of the above do! Lol

Actually that third last picture, the 350z with bronze wheels, those are genuine. Center caps and stickers removed is why i chose that picture

Lol how can you say those are not great looking wheels? I don't understand how you can not like them but still like TE37's lol, unless your only gripe with them is they are rip-offs. Look at that BMW, that looks awesome! Apart from the whole 19's on the front and 18's on the back, i don't really agree with that. But that BMW looks mad, that 32 GTR looks mad... Too much rubber on the Evo for my liking but it still looks pretty good.

That R35 GTR is a track/street car. I took those pictures off SAU, the guy has had them on for two years and look at the condition of them. On a 2-tonne car, seeing constant thrashing on the track as well as the occasional fang around the street with all the potholes and curbs... Don't sound like weak wheels to me.

No one said they didn't look good, they do. The same way a Thailanese hooker looks good.
Just do some more research, I've seen way too many broken ROTA and other cheap wheels to ever consider owning a set.
