According to DPI, your car is fine man because you have four individual brake lights. In my case where only two of them light up, i would have to install a third, but yours are fine.

No sir, that's incorrect.
Any vehicle post 1989 must be fitted with an eye level brake light.
I've asked the question of an inspector after I was done for a GT wing.
I placed an LED bar on the upper rear of my car after I put the VeilSide one on in place of the stock item.
I did one for another WCC member.

Dont listen to Martin, he's talking shit. If you have an eye-level brake light from the factory, then you will need one. Personally, I wouldnt bother until you get stickered, then just buy one from Super Cheap like the one on Sam (Bella <3)'s car.

Lol, just mucking around dude.
The eye-level brake light is there so the people behind the person behind you can see it, and brake earlier. Having 10 lights at the same level still wont help that. Make sense?

Not even that dude. Even if you import a vehicle post 89 that doesn't have one, it must be fitted in order to comply for registration. If you have an eye-level brake light from the factory, then you will need one.

Ok, that makes sense, for ADRs.
Either way, you'll need one.

Well all i know is that i got stickered for having 4 brake lights, 2 normal lights on the eb, 1 on the rear parsel shelf (factory) making up the 3 i am meant to have on the car anyways, the fourth light was in my rear wing (LED strip) which is meant to be there in replacement of the parsel shelf light, the wing is factory on that model car, and the wing i have is genuine ford, but the gt's dont have the parsel shelf brake lamp, just the one in the wing, so i got done for having a missing/blocked viewed tail lamp (even though the LED's in the wing where working, they blocked the view on the factory instailed light)
the annoying part is i was nice and pollte to the cop's, didnt give them any reason at all to sticker it over that.
i guess they just couldn't find anything else to sticker, morons, the rear main was leaking oil everywhere - and still went over the pits 2 days later
theres just to much bullshit to do with it all
and as normal the dpi are of no fu*(ing help

Between the DPI and the pigs you get fucked either way.
I'm lucky my inspector is one of the few rare ones who knows his shit and is on the ball.
There is also a website that you can go to that can verify most things you need to know as they have the ADR's online. Go !!!!!!! HERE !!!!!!! for a rundown.
