Not really handling wise but you will have better grip.

I mean in it a way that the sidewalls are slightly stretched so they are more harder and wont flex around corners, cause that's my main problem handling wise,
Traction is only an issue when, it's raining bit oily and the cars adequately warmed up haha

If the sidewalls are the same profile, they'll flex just as much as the wider ones.
Width will give you grip, while a lower/stiffer profile will increase cornering.
A lot of race cars run a decent sized sidewall, but because they are thicker in the wall, there's less flex. I don't know of any companies off the top of my head that sell a street legal race type tyre. Maybe Lachlan can help here.

It'll give you better grip, but it's body roll you need to try and avoid. That's only suspension mods.
But you need some better wheels, epic offset with stretched tires!!

Thats going wider tho? Just strething the tire, and a fkn insane stretch at that, not sure how many people would be willing to do that for you. It'd also look shit, so you'll need some wider tires, which will help grip no end also. 195 is pretty crap

Remember guys i'm not going to do this, i'm asking are there advantages to this
This is NOT a big stretch, it's less than 1 cm.
Maths time
tyre: 195mm wide, current rim 140mm (5.5in), other rim 203mm (8in)
Is a 195mm wide tyre on a 203mm (8in) rim going to have less sidewall flex than a 195mm wide tyre on a 140mm (5.5in) rim?
Hopefully everyone can understand now.

I'm quite pleased by how much power the car made today.
Considering that:
It has a mildly breached heagasket.
Is burning oil, losing water.
Quite worn diff pinion bearings.
Lower compression in cylinder #1.
Standard timing running 98 octane.
and just being a 32 year old engine and a 42 year old design
I reckon it was a good effort and i like that i actually know how much I get at the wheels and can actually tell someone when they ask.

I've found a L24E engine complete with Loom intake manifold, ECU and all the bits needed to run.
better news is that it's free!

Are they firmer then stock? Cos you'll need firmer suspension rather then just replacing the stock shit

yes they are, they have a higher rate than stock springs + the stockies would be all soft now anyway.
