yeah thats probably a good call.
i drove down n spoke to em today, they will have it all sorted in bout 1.5weeks mild port n polish also dropped off my shiny new water pump shes gonna be a tough little engine.
hopefully have it on the road in 4weeks. its looking doubtful for powercruise

Yeah, trust looks nice. As long as it flows well with the rest of the kit, it's a killer.

yer i dont really know wtf im doing when it comes to the oil feed thing, see what happens
should have sold those 555cc injectors, now deciding on either 700cc, 800cc, or 1000cc. im leaning towards 1000cc

alright crisis over, i was wonderin how the f#k i was going to do the oil feed without putting shvings in the engine. -the engine shop was meant to have done all this and it was in the quote he gave me etc.. but yeah, he didnt, and he asked for more money.
the guy was supposed to do the internal feed.. on closer inspection he has drilled the head for the external feed. its not what i wanted but atleast all i need now is to buy the fittings n she'll be good to start putting manifolds etc back on!

shot down to enzed today snapped these up
im not one to talk bad about shops but man the ppl at hitech have lost the plot, they quoted me one price and changed it twice and ontop of that they didnt do the internal oil feed, put on the tensioners, covers, cam gears, timing belt, etc, put on flywheel n clutch, lost one of the bolts for the clutch which i cant find at any shop!? -few other things.
i didnt say anything to him when i got the motor back, i just asked what fittings i needed n moved on, then today i went n bought a 1/8" fitting for the head, BUT they hadnt threaded the hole properly! when i rang him today to ask why the thread wasnt done properly he said "i can sell u a tap" then he said "bring the whole engine down to malaga and i'll tap it for you"
seriously wtf.

HiTech huh. That's one to put on the list of shops to stay away from.
I'm glad I do all my own work. It's peanuts like these that makes me thank the old man for teaching me young.

coming along now, been struggling trying to find all the little bits n pieces i need. i think ive been to 70% of hardware n nuts n bolts places in WA.
now all thats needed are 1000cc injectors, hks rail, fpr AND a timing belt! hitech cylinder heads supplied me with an rb25 cam belt!? fkn retards i need one that has 150 teeth. such a pain in the ass picking up where these lazy pricks left off

Have you tried perfectrun or greenline motorsports for the injectors and fuel rail? Got some pretty good prices on those websites compared to what I have found elsewhere...
