my gf finally got around to giving me my photos, heres a few a day b4 the engine went in
some q45 90mm throttle and bling comin at ya
^^that was after a 2second rub down with a semi clean rag. yes i said rub down
also note where the tensioner bearing sits, if u compare it with my other pics u can see Ovaboost moved it above the water pump.

Love the fuel rail! (as well as everything else there). Is the RB25 logo custom? Or do theya ll have that there?

liquid paper? na i saved all my liquid paper just like u asked so u can use it for touch up paint.
yeah it came with the rb25 logo, Ovaboost were pretty impressed by the fuel rail. we compared it with the one in their blue drag car..i forget what the car was but it had a new FPV motor in it, think it was turbo aswell -that thing was setup to run 7's.
the fuel rails are literally identicle down to the scoring marks where the bolts sit.
i think the one they use is a power enterprise... $$$$

i spoke to ovaboost today, no progress has been done since compression test, still waiting for Mick to do some fab work.
eta feb-march i reckon
i told them to just take their time and put it on the back burner as im not too phased but alot of mates have been askin when it'll be done etc, the suspense is building.. most likely to a motor that will explode on the dyno first run! haha. hopefully not
and also it gives me time to build funds as they still havent told me how much this will cost. sponsors welcome

Mick has fabricated and installed a custom 2.5" s/s intercooler pipe setup.
i was not expecting that as i had just bought one of those shitty universal chinese 3" intercooler kit from ebay, though i guess it was to be expected. i had an image in my head of how the kit was going to be installed but when the engine had been dropped in it was pretty obvious from how it sat that there would be some serious stuffing around to get the kit to work, im sure it could have been done but would have involved about 10 silicon pieces..
i wish i could have had a better look at the intercooler pipes he made, but the car was up on the hoist im sure it will be a great intercooler setup as i've seen the work they've done on their own and other peoples cars and its really second to none.
i didnt get a close look but think its been setup so there is only 4 silicon piecese used -throttle body-intercooler-other side of intercooler-turbo.
gotta say im a bit nervous, as a while ago they were telling me their cutsom intercooler kits are around 1-1.5k.
i dropped off an rb25 ally coilpack harness that i forgot to give them, and now the only things left to do is the dump pipe, screamer, setup, tune etc
again as the car was up on the hoist (with a car underneath) i couldnt see what the engine bay looked like or if they have done an intake + pod, catch can or figured a way to close the bonnet.
an issue we talked about today was my 1000cc injectors. they are low impedence instead of high impedence as i have a microtech ecu i should be able to get away with it, but they couldnt remember which way microtech will let u go ie high to low but not low to high etc
they were saying i'll have shit fuel economy which is to be expected but as my future mods would hopefully involve e85 i'll be laughin.
anyway, hopefully get another phone call soon saying its nearly done and also hopefully i wont be receiving a 10k bill!

300rwhp at 4500rpm-ish. only got a half tune coz it was overboosting. apparanttly torque/boost came on hard and was smokin the tyres on the dyno. re tune after run in period to 6500-7200rpm see what she makes then. really need a new wastegate spring + yet another manifold

current tune. only a half tune as i stated above.
will be finished when i get some k's on the engine to run it in and that wont happen until i find someone to paint my car.
4th gear BP 98 RON, 60kph start & around 4.5k rpm
still plenty left in it, boost comes on hard
