I don't understand the whole harley crazy, no offence. Loud and slow, it'll be like driving my NA 33 again!! Haha. And I think I'm too thin to ride s Harley, I wouldn't suit it at all At least with the full leathers and colour coded helmet I'll look half decent on the bike! Lol.

Ugh Harley's are homo... Not only the bike's, but the whole attitude that goes with them. Wearing a bandanna instead of a helmet, singlet instead of a riding jacket... Clearly never fallen off a bike before. And then you get the occasional smart person that wears a good riding jacket, good helmet, good boots, good pants... And everyone looks at them like they are dickheads for wearing that stuff and riding a Harley. Pfft

Fuck sludge pump piece of shit Harleys. They are the worst fucking idea in the bike world. There's a saying, "Harleys always leave their mark". That's because they leak oil worse than a virgin on her first night. Fucking antiquated pushrod cunts of things. I would rather ride the pink fucking scooter with a gay cock up my arse. I know a bikie who has nothing but problems with his Fat Boy. He's forever working on it due to leaks and breakdown. I knew another guy with one that was a mongrel and his was always leaking as well. The fucking designers and engineers don't know how to evolve from the dark ages. Don't touch the cunts.
Here's a quick list of the road bikes I've owned and what I thought:
Kawasaki KLR250 - Meh.... Road and trail.
Kawasaki GPZ-600R - Decent all around bike. Had a few reliability issues though.
Honda VR1000R - Fucking awesome bike. Very rare and was owned by Wayne Gardner. Topped out at 304km/h and sat as still as a rock. Nice in the corners and easy to drag the knee. This one got me into a lot of chases with the pigs (they never caught me). Would pull a wheelie as easy as opening Paris Hilton's legs. Not much touched me with this one.
Suzuki GSX-R Hypersports on NOS with extended swing arm - Quick bike even while not on the giggle. Cornered well with no reliability issues.
Kawasaki ZX-2R Ninja - Cool little bike. Pissed all over my mate's Harley. I went on a cruise with this in the hills with a bike club and kept up with a few of the bigger bikes. Good in the corners. Has some valvetrain and cooling issues. I was forever shimming the valvetrain. You couldn't hammer the bitch too hard or else she'd start to break down.
Whatever you do, stay the fuck away from sludge pumps.

I don't know anything about them (only that they aren't a W16 quad turbo 1000hp supercar...) but I don't think I'll be able to drive one on a 250cc licence, or be able to afford one on an apprentice mechanic licence! Lol

Just a tad... Lol. Nah, I'll be fine with just a 250cc. Like I said before, if it looks fast and has a bit of go with it, thats all I want. The 33 is the speed machine, its safer too! Haha

Good point... I guess as long as it looks some what decent and go ok and is in great condition thats all you need coz when it comes to doing high speed I agree I rather do it in a car.

Eh they are good bikes, but in the same way that Ferrari's are good cars. They are, but they are not worth the money if you compare the performance you get from a bike like that to something like a CBR Blackbird.
Lol Rhys you will soon find that the bike will be the speed machine. The bike will be faster than your car easily

Lol well consider this, my mates CBR 929 Fireblade cost $7000. That thing weighs 250kgs with him on it, and has 136hp at the wheel. It goes 0-100 in 3.3 seconds, and has a top speed of ~300kms an hour.
Motorbikes are definitely the best bang for your buck way to go fast. Im with you though... i much prefer to do it in a car!

Haha, I am 20! But dad has his, and mum rode around Mandurah without one, although she usually rode on the beach, so they really can't stop me without behind hipocritical.
Whether that stops them or not, well I'll keep you all posted! Lol

Wow, its been almost a year and not much has changed! Except that now I want a fast bike cos I know "Just a 250" will annoy me, and I want the Aprillia RS250 instead of the GPX250. 2 stroke ftw!!!
I want to go get my Ls next week sometime, or on the 15th cos I'll have the day off work. Only issue is my eyes. The thing is, I'm a bit short sighted so cant really read the eye test board. I can see fine, just can read street signs til they're up close. I wanted contacts for the test, but it seems like an expensive idea, so I was thinking about wearing my glasses and if I ever get questioned by a cop just tell them I'm wearing contacts. They cant prove it on the side of the road. Not an ideal solution, but I want my Ls sooooooooooooo badly right now!!
