*Mexican accent* "YOU CRAAAAAAZY BITCH!!!!!"
Well it probably won't cost any more to let them rewire it all, so in that regard it is t a huge issue. Having said that, it is a days worth of fun and something to do, so if you get bored do it, man!!

Lol i get very bored during the days... I just dunno what to do with all the bits and pieces, like i will have to leave the adapter and sensor in the radiator hose, and i can't disconnect my vacuum gauge because i've obviously cut the hose to fit the T-piece... The oil temperature sensor will have to stay in the filter sandwhich plate, but the location of the oil filter makes it really difficult to get the wire off... I can't decide if i should do it so that KYP can do it properly (my wiring was only meant to be temporary, so it's pretty dodgy), or if i should just not bother and leave it... I suppose i should just disconnect it all... But what about all the bits... Dammit, full circle lol

With the boost/vacuum, just put a screw in the hose and cable tie it down so it doesnt leak.
The rest, keep the wires running underneith the dash, but make sure you tape the ends off and all in one position. If you are as unbelievably anal as I am, reroute it all in a very clear, well thought out and almost standard way. For example, taping them all together then cable tying them all to the standard loom. Only if you can be bothered. Harder, but cleaner.
Thats not a bad idea... I might rip my interior out on the long weekend and start rewiring everything under the dash and my sound system wires! Lol

Wouldn't that vacuum hose need to be connected though? I still need to drive the car to KYP remember lol

Haha. The vacuum hose goes into the guage which reads the pressure, but it also blocks it off. If you leave it open, it'll loose vacuum and won't run right. Plugging it up will do the same thing. Remember, you put that line in there, the engine runs fine without it.
So if your bored and want to help, do that. Otherwise, no great loss if you don't.

Lol yeh my bad, i only just realised this morning what you meant hahahahaha. I thought you meant disconnect the gauge line, and put screws in the vacuum hose that i had cut. This morning i was like "Hey i could totally just put one screw in the line going to the... wait." lol. My bad, was tired last night

The 34 was to auto and too rusty, trust me
Would love another R34 GTT though. A manual in yellow, red or white would be absolutely awesome.
But enough of my hijacking your thread!

Ok well KYP just sent me a picture of the km's on the half cut
61475 kms!! Fucking excellent, i was hoping for something around the 80xxxkm mark. Very very happy
The only thing is the previous owner removed the centre gauge pod before wrecking the car, so now i need to track down one of those

At least it's been wound back to an inconspicuous number...
Haha kms are genuine, Ben made sure of that.
Rhys that is still in Japan, unless Ben somehow smuggled it into his suitcase when he flew home on Sunday
Isaac i have no idea when the shipment will arrive, nor when the can get the work done. Hoping to get some more info from KYP tomorrow about all that. The half cut will have to come by ship i'm sure, so will probably take a few weeks
