Doesn't work like that dude, a car isn't tuned FOR a fuel, it's tuned WITH a fuel. My car is tuned with BP98 yes, so Andrew has tuned the car to safe limits on that fuel. Trying to advance timing more or run more boost will cause the car to ping because the fuel will burn to quickly, making it pre-detonate. Increasing the octane rating to 107RON increases those safe limits because it won't burn as fast, allowing me to make more power without risking damage to my engine.

Lol $100 a tank? Not that expensive. It usually costs me $60-$65 to fill up anyway. Imagine if you owned a 4X4, you would be paying ~$150 for every tank :confused:

$70ish for mine, or $55 for the Mazda.
Still, 14psi is going to damage the turbo before the motor. I've taken my car to two AHG days, one trip to the drags, many burnouts and I'm not easy on it on the street. It still comes back for more!

I'm sure you can do without the crazy fuel.

Well, after all that I forgot the fuckin stuff in the excitement of leaving for Powercruise lol. Along with my toothbrush, deodorant, razor, etc. So I blended in perfectly with the rest of the mullets there :P

Arghhh my car is all fucked now :( :(

Ignition is really fucked, set off the alarm when I tried to start it today :confused: Don't understand. Can't find what is causing the turbo to flutter. God dammit!

Wow!! AHG really fucked everyone around yesterday! Kinda glad I didnt go now, car would have arrived back at work on a tow truck for a second time!!
