I thought 12psi was the limit? Well, safely anyway. 14 was ok but wear it down a lot?
KYP are useless at eletrical shit!! Fucken hell

Mmm 12psi is pushing the limit, 11psi is really the safe limit. I'm going to be running 13/14psi high boost, Andrew said that should be fine as long as I am not booting it everywhere and don't use it in hot weather. And yes. KYP are terrible with electrics, so I'm glad C-Red did my wiring for my conversion lol.

Hmmmm ceramic turbine?

Yeh, ceramic turbine and nylon compressor wheel. But big OP6 exhaust housing, so it can flow a lot more power without pushing much psi.

It always spikes...
My ACVR used to show max max boost of 1.3bar. Sometimes it would hit 1.4bar but thats only on really really cold nights.

It won't spike with Greddy B-Spec II, it has a limiter function so when it goes over the set limit it cuts the boost. Was trying it out today, works like a charm lol. Boost spikes aren't THAT big a deal anyway, unless you keep driving around making it spike. Excessive heat kills turbines, not boost.

Few pictures of what I've been up to:

He might not have it set up right. It's real hard to set cos it uses percentages not the pressure value.

Martin, those seats look good! And the engine cover, god damn!! Fantastic work!
How come your button is down there? My toggle switch is on the unit itself

Haha thanks man :) To be honest I'm not happy with the engine cover, but I can't be bothered doing it all again.

I can switch it using the unit, this switch is a separate thing that I have wired for a bit of fun. Means I don't have to go fiddling around with the unit while I'm driving cos I can't actually see it while I'm driving, it's all hidden away down near my leg. So I can just push that button and switch modes.

To be honest... It was mainly for wank factor and a bit of fun lol. I had the whole Men In Black "Push the little red button" in mind :P

Ahaha, nice work. You need one at the time of the gear knob! Lol.
My unit is on the steering collumn, so reaching for it is easy. Besides, I'm on high boost 24/7 now anyway.

*sigh*, as usual my anger has been overcome by an overwhelming desire to fix the fucker. Don't even know where to start though, turbo timers are so simple so I don't understand what KYP could possibly have done

After doing a search on google last night, I could not find anyone who has had the same problem as me. Which leads me to believe that either the turbo timer is fucked, or something is wrong with the car. But Identimark said they even tried disconnecting the immobilizer and it still wouldn't switch off, so I don't understand.

What happens is: I switch the car off and the turbo timer kicks in fine. Starts counting down and does what it is supposed to do. But then when it reaches the end of it's countdown, the car sort of hesitates a bit but doesn't turn off, and the turbo timer just resets itself and does it all again. The car just never switches off.

Anyone have any ideas? So broken :(

rip everything out, get a C210

or skip the C210 part and just reinstall everything yourself?

That's what I'm gonna have to do if I don't know where to look. But I'd rather not just pull apart my dash and start cutting wires, I'd rather know what the problem could be and know where to look.
