Not the best photo's, but they were only quick ones, I'll show you in person Rhys.
I'm not really happy with it's appearance, the vented lid at the top is too shiny in comparison with the rest of the shield, and it is quite scratched up from cutting the aluminum. I also don't like the captive nuts I used to attach the vented lid, but I can't find any good looking screws that are the right size...
Anyway, the heatshield is made of aluminum, the wall has heat reflective tape on the outside and insulation material on the inside, so next to no heat gets through to the pod. The idea behind the vented lid was that hot air rises, so those vents will allow the hot air to be pushed through the heatshield while cold fresh air is forced in there by the 4" ram intake hose leading up from that side vent in my front bar.
So basically my pod stays nice and cold

I noticed a huge difference in throttle response, and a little difference in power at higher rpm.
