Aaahhh, fair enough.

So whens the shoot? With or without Soc's car, I'm not fussed.

Burnout photos? :P

Let me get my engine cover painted and looking good and then we can do it. So probably next week sometime? When are you free dude? And what locations should we do? Should pick a slightly cloudy day, reflections look sick in my paint :D

Definitely keen to do it with Socs and the others. Tom gets his car back on Wednesday, so we would all probably be keen to do something next week sometime if we organize it? Otherwise I'm happy if it's just me and Socs or whatever :)

Martin I will sort that MFD for you whenever your free.
Car looks good dude, you did an alright job at the paint too!
but yes, poor mr brembo didnt look too happy

Thanks dude :) again sorry I couldn't take you for a ride, but good thing I didn't cos mum was angry enough at me as it was lol. I'm pretty much always free man, so whenever you have a couple of hours? It would take a few hours to install I imagine, there are a lot of wires. Tapping into the ECU would be the easy part.

I'll fix that Brembo up this weekend probably. It's not badly damaged at all, just cosmetic. I can repair that easy enough :)

Anytime after 4 next week, let me know and I'll come straight from work. Hell, might even bring my car down and join in! Lol.
What colour is Tom's car again? Will help me decide on a location. You guys both up in the hills? Might drive around the industrial area on GEH. Cant remember which one it is  lol

Tom's car is silver. Has awesome wheels too ;) We are both up in the hills, do you mean the 'industrial' area in Mundaring? Can't think of any other area that could be considered industrial. The one in Mundaring isn't really industrial though lol.

Ok I'll scope out the weather and make sure it isn't raining or anything. Any day is good for me really, would be better on Monday, Wednesday or Friday though, then I don't have to rush for training.

Any of those suit me. I promise I wont rock up drunk if we do it Friday though ;)
Is Malaga too far from you guys? Cos I've found an awesome spot I wanna try out... Lol

I should polish my car again. I'll need some new polish pads for my polisher though. Best birthday present my mate ever got me! Lol.

But yeah, when ever you're ready. :)

I like it. It's much quicker, and it gets rid of dealer scratches that would otherwise stay there with hand polishing.

They aren't actually THAT great, they do make it easier but only if you use it right. They aren't very powerful so you can't put too much polish on or it is a bitch to get it off. I actually find it easier to apply the polish by hand and then just use the machine to buff it off. I need to get swirl remover, previous owner clearly didn't think to clean the pad before he used it :/

I was wondering the same? If they replaced the bearings I can understand, but nit a straight swap? Unless it's to make sure everything is ok before winding up the wick?

This is why man. I said the same thing to Brett after we did his conversion. The engine is of unknown condition and it's wise to just be a little cautious just in case.
It's only a 1000k's. No biggie and worth the wait in caution.

^^ Umm what? lol.

The oil is special run in oil, it just happens to be semi-synthetic. Meant to dissolve and absorb any deposits or glazing in the cylinders, etc. Not too keen on whatever oil they put in my gearbox though, reverse 'clicks' sometimes.

But yeh, Allen is spot on, unless you know the history of the engine it is wise to treat it like it needs to be run in.
