I am proud
But Rhys I am keeping the grill, to me it is still a GT. I'm gonna keep everything GT about it, which is why I'm going with the blue/white/silver color scheme. It's just a GT with GTT parts, because certain things from the GTT won't fit. Like I can't get GTT brakes or suspension items etc. The custom plates I'm getting will be [SIMPLY GT]
Anyway, I've booked my car back in at KYP for next Monday, so I can finally get off this run in tune I've done about 850kms, driving to uni tomorrow will see me up to about 950. So by next week Monday it will be overdue. Can't wait to get that boost controller hooked up so I can go straight to 11psi at 4500rpm instead of this dual 5psi then 7psi bullshit

Nice plates! I'd prefer [GT2NV] or [NV MY GT] Actually yours are better.
Why full boost at 4500? I get 18psi at 4000 and I'm telling you now it's not awesome. A stock turbo should be coming on around 3k, response I DREAM about! Lol. Keeping my car on boost around AHG is almost impossible... Unless I'm sideways, which gives me a slower lap anyway

My turbo starts spooling at around 2800-3000, but doesn't hit full boost until about 4500? Mind you its still got the stock dump/front pipe.
My god my car sounds sexy In the morning when it's cold it backfires on decel, sounds so sweet

Good to know you're going to keep referring to it as a GT,

Sounds like a good idea Socs! Maybe we can get Walker's R31, Tom's R32 and Rhys' R33 in on it, then we have the whole series?

Can we do mine and yours then one with the rest cause i meant it as a GT shoot, and then we can do the GTS'S and the r31 GXE.
I'd like to also invite a dude with an R30 and the guy with the R35 as well and if i can find a c110/240k get them along as well.
C110/C210/R30/R31/R32/R33/R34/R35
8 generations

Yeh man, but might as well do it all in one shoot lol, not much point getting Rhys to do two different shoots.
The R35 would be cool but technically it's not a Skyline, it's a GTR. You could do that shoot if we had the generations of GTR's, but we only have GT(S)'s.

Already done the GTRs
But I'd love to do the 2 GTs then a second shoot with the whole generation. I love shooting, so different cars and locations would be awesome!
I'm up for it when you two are

Not concerned about the number plate, physics tells me the air has to go around the number plate and through the intercooler anyway.
Seats are possibly sorted, I've bought some Recaro rails to suit my car that will solve the problem if they fit the seats. I can't see them not fitting the seats so they should be sorted Will see when the rails arrive this week sometime.

I'd move the number plate off to the side anyway. Or when you get the new plates, get them in slimming and mounted to the lip of the front bar.

yeah i meant do both shoots one the same day
and yeah R35 isn't really a skyline but it has the tailights and is still part of the legacy.

Don't wanna drill holes in my front bar. Mounting it to the lip of the front bar will actually cause it to block off more air than where it is now, as it will divert air up and over the front bar, whereas if I leave it where it is the air will hit the number plate but still be forced through the intercooler. Did a pressure test with some of dads gliding equipment when I first got the car, where it is right now doesn't provide much of a restriction.

You what now...? Do what I did, use some L-brackets from Bunnings and bolt them to the bottom of the front bar. That way you wont drill any visible holes in the kit
Socs, why not do both? Better quality pics with low number of cars cos I have more time to move the cars around for different angles. Carn! I'm dying to take some new pics, I'm getting desperate! Hahaha

Lol a pressure zone test. Measures where the pressure zones are and shows like an infrared display showing zones of air pressure and aerodynamics. Dad being an engineer keen on flying has it's benefits

Lol, fair enough! Did you try it with the stock bumper/aftermarket bumper? That'd be interesting!
