Yeah I have a highflow and I like it. Produces a good amount of power, although I will be going bigger soon, highmount, external gate, ect ect. But as a street car, its perfect.

Exactly, and yours is an R33 highflow isn't it? With the OP6 housing, R34 turbo's are good for 50kw more.

ABB make them, they're designed for two-stroke diesel marine engines. 20,000 kW to 28,000 kW per turbocharger.
Wanna couple for the VH41?

Group buy on the 28000kw turbos?
I'm off to pick up my car now I am excited! Can't wait to drive it. And then get it home. And then take it off the road again while I do all the brakes and all my upgrades... Can't wait to work on it again, been so long. And I haven't driven it for almost 4 months now, so I'm stoked

Well just got home, I can't stop smiling I love it! Already racked up 85kms
Couple of minor issues with it; Ben couldn't get the turbo timer working, for some reason when it finished counting down it reset itself and started counting down again so it would never turn off. Said he will fix that when I bring it back for the 1000km service.
I'm not sure if the boost controller is connected either, are they meant to turn on when you turn the car on or do you have to turn it on manually?
The radiator that I bought did not come with a radiator cap so they fitted one that sort of fits but not very well, so it leaks a bit. Gotta get that sorted.
I can smell something burning, or something smells very hot, but the temperature gauge reads fine. Normal? I thought it might be what happens before you have worn the clutch in? Or maybe caused by the run-in oil? Or am I riding the clutch and causing it to burn? It's rather hard to drive lol, haven't driven a manual in months and all of a sudden I have a racing clutch...
Other than that, it's all sweet Currently in the process of fitting the GTR bov, then I'm gonna install my boost gauge and wire up my other gauges. So full day of fun for me

An excellent and thorough job.....
At least you've got it back and can work on ironing out the rough spots.

Burning is normal, but if its still doing it then something could be wrong. Just check over everything to see where its coming from.
As for slipping clutch, only you can can tell us, we dont know how you drive! Although 4 months without driving a manual car?? FARK THAT!! Even I didnt go that long without a license! Although it was slightly easier driving the cars around at work.
Start organizing that cruise, dude! You've got 2 days

Yeh I think it was just oil and grease on the exhaust and the engine burning away, the burning has pretty much gone now.
I'm starting to get my head around the clutch, I try to drive it without making it chatter... So pretty much just take the clutch out and go lol. Makes parking in my garage interesting

Yeh I have seen it lol, not cheap though
Well I installed my boost gauge and voltage stabilizer today, both look awesome Unfortunately I have discovered my Sparco seats will not fit, won't be easy to make them fit either Going to ask dad (engineer) if he can fabricate some brackets for me to install them, would be a huge shame if they didn't fit

Went and saw Kermit today, really nice bloke. Dropping my car off with him tomorrow, he is gonna make my 3" cat-back and weld some flanges onto my high-flow cat and fit that. Will have a go at installing my dump/front pipe when I get it back.

Yeh pretty good me thinks, considering you would pay ~$1000 for a Jap brand s/s cat-back that may not fit your car perfectly. Custom exhaust is perfect for your car, you can design it how you want, and it's cheaper. Plus Kermit is just a good bloke and does amazing work.
I've got about enough left in my spending account to pay for this, the 1000km service, installation of my coilovers, and to get it tuned. Then I'll be pretty tight for cash, pity I couldn't squeeze in the new turbo as well

Do the coilovers yourself man. Really it's as easy as taking a shit.
I can all four of mine in 30-40 minutes solo.
