I think for the next one we will make it a first to the finish is the winner. We had the mystery time to try and avoid speeding, although Its a shame that the teams that do the tasks really well and make good time are then out of the winnings. It has given a few things to think about anyway. Any suggestions or the next one would be great.

Marianne did a very good job with it, it was extremely fun in any case and we really couldn't have cared less if we had won or not. How to do it in the future is hard, because the last thing we want is people hooning around and possibly having an accident, we definitely do not want to damage the reputation of WCC or build a reputation as a hoon club. And you know that if prize money is involved then people are going to drive dangerously, especially as this event gets bigger and bigger...

I know that most the fun is really just taking part.
Im also considering for the next one having a paid task, as in a task that will cost a little bit of money to do, such as target shooting, super/mini golf, rock climbing, absailing etc, but this will depend on how the majority feel about the expense, I think it could be made pretty exciting though.

I think some of the tasks is were teams can also gain alot of time doing the event. Look at The Manly Construction Workers. They rocked up to the first task at about 4th position and then easily got into the lead by being wize doing the task coming out in front of everyone by miles. Unfortunetly they returned to find Tim's immobiliser key lost in the sand. They gained alot of time on that event showing that anything can change. But once again, it was all about the average time over the whole course of the event. It made it interesting.

I also agree paid tasks would be fun. I think it would be awesome, a whole day where you do things like rock climbing, target shooting etc. It would be win, who cares about the cost!?

- A couple of prizes to the overall fastest teams
- A couple of prizes to the teams to finish challenges the quickest
- Best Dressed Prize
- 2nd last prize (to avoid purposly losing)
This would mean doing an overall timing aswell as timing each individual challenge.
And next time may I suggest nothing that gets teams too wet and/or too dirty (ie the beach). Jess and I almost both wore our ~$250 pairs of shoes. They are NOT going anywhere near the water!
Not to mention people in car clubs generally like to keep their cars clean
Besides task #1 it was a good race/rally! More teams involved and therefore more teams cruising together towards challenges would be great.

Dude you had electric tape wrapped around your shoe holding the bottom tread on from flapping around. The things look like they were bin material.
Lets face it, everyone was ok with it plus you didn't have the use your shoes. It was the fact that you were copying everyone else of what they were doing and not using your brains using a shirt or socks etc. There was other options but you persisted to not help Jess spitting the dummy about using your shoes and choose not to participate in the task at all. Look at the photo dude with you sitting on the beach. Scotts just looking at you thinking WTF? You were just having a upset moment.
I didn't know anyone could be so scared of sand and water.
