Well as long as it happens. Bit disappointing about the low numbers, but its their loss, the rest of us will enjoy it

Hey what do i do if i can't get in touch with my mates to get them to sign the forms before the cut-off date? Cos my mates all work, so i doubt i will be able to get them to sign the form before thursday.

So can i just send in the team nomination form and get them to sign on the day?

Assuming this still takes place of course :(

Just send in the team entry and submit the disclaimer on the day of the event, You can not start without submitting the disclaimer.

Time is running out to get entries in for the amazing race! entries can be emailed to sileby@westnet.com.au with signed disclaimers submitted on the day of the event.
Will extend deadline to Monday the 22nd that should give you plenty of time to post/email entrys.
I really thought a cash prize would motivate some people? I will still run the event with low numbers but the prize pool will suck. Probably wont organise another one though if this is a failure.

Thanks for the effort Tritty, i think it is a brilliant idea. I think people have a problem with filling out forms or something, can't imagine why you wouldn't want to attend this

Always remember that I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me. An alcoholic is someone you don't like who drinks as much as you do. Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink. You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on. Stay busy, get plenty of exercise, and don't drink too much. Then again, don't drink too little. Time is never wasted when you're wasted all the time. One reason I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time. A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine, except that on a day without sunshine you can still get drunk. I stopped drinking, but only when I sleep. This is one of the disadvantages of wine: it makes a man mistake words for thought. Cigarettes and coffee: an alcoholic's best friend !!!! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they always worked for me. The consumption of alcohol may cause pregnancy. A man who exposes himself when he is intoxicated, has not the art of getting drunk. A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory. I drink to forget I drink. Alcohol is necessary for a man so that he can have a good opinion of himself, undisturbed be the facts. Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water. The whole world is about three drinks behind. I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Of course she can, it is an open event, they just need to send in an entry, they dont need to belong to any club. The more teams the better, basically it means a bigger prize money pool.

There are no plans for a BBQ and I dont think there are any BBQ facilities at the finish. There are places nearby to get lunch and we may all head to one particular place as a group once it is over. You are welcome to pack your own lunch if your prefer. I deffinately recommend taking plenty to drink as some if the tasks are physical. Taking some snacks might also be handy.
