So as I have said elsewhere I'm getting a new car soon (Wooo!). Once the R34 is well and truly gone I will have some money to play around with which will mean much modding to my car. Obviously I'll be boosting it up which will mean I'll need a boost gauge. While I'm going with gauges should I get any more? Water temp? Oil temp/pressure? Anything I particularly need for a mildly modded vehicle. I don't want too much going on in the cabin but I'd rather get a multiple gauge holder if I need more then one rather then mucking around.
What do you reckon? Just boost or should I double or even triple up?

Wait until you see what gauges come with the Leggie, or if you already know, give the info. Normally most things are taken care of by the manufacturer but boost is a given.

Doesn't look like it has too many. Found a bloke who is going to do a cool custom triple one for the Legnum anyway so I'll be getting that. Looks swank.

Boost (obviously), but grab oil pressure and water temp guages as well. The factory guages are highly inaccurate, and you've probably heard me raving about how great having an aftermarket temp guage is! Lol. And loss of oil pressure is the number 1 killer of all engines, so it's very important to keep an eye on it!

Well I've ordered a custom triple gauge cluster so yeah, boost, oil pressure and water temperature will be the once going in.

Speaking of which I wanna buy some gauges this weekend (I have to see how much $$$ I have, may be making another decent purchase for the new car, haha!). I would like them all white faced and of the same make.
Found these...
http://cgi.ebay.com....=item5ad74935fd
But $178 seems a bit harsh! What should I be paying for three gauges?

Damn man. The guy I went through twice to get my gauges from is no longer listed on eBay.
I got a combination of 5 defi copies for $250 delivered.
You can expect to pay around the $50 -/+ $10 per gauge. Though keep in mind - you get what you pay for.

I have ebay gauges, they aren't the most accurate, but they look awesome! I'm going to get an ARK MFD for the actual readings, the gauges are just for looks really
Does anyone know what a Sound Activated boost gauge is?

Very inaccurate boost gauge by the sound of it.
So are they just no-name eBay shit, Lachlan? I'd be interested in how they go. Not too sure about no-name parts... But thats just me.

Lol i don't really care about accuracy, as i said im gonna get a ARK MFD for the actual readings. I can't afford $300 each for Defi gauges, and they are the only gauges i trust that look good

Will do. Still waiting for my custom gauge holder to be finished and sent from Aukland. Should look pretty badass once completed.
