good night and turn out for jess' cruise although if those cops who stopped paul were camping out there they got the wrong commodore it was the other dickhead that just randomly rocked up and laid a skid so thanks to him someone inoccent got the finger pointed at them

Eh?? I've heard of people being stickered for stock tint, stock BOVs, one of my mates got done for a black bolt in his water pump (they said it was oil) and another matewas stickered for his exhaust too low. It was 12cm of the ground...

Another mate (I'm very popular!) has a 540awhp 32 GTR, has been pulled over multiple times, openly admits nothing in the car is legal, and gets let go.

Cops aren't very smart. Nice people off duty though...

Never been pulled over by the cops, random breathe test - yes, been followed - yes. Never had a problem though! And I had illegal tint, illegal seat and (probably) too loud exhaust. It's the luck of the draw sometimes!

I feel your pain... Had a detective threaten me with a fine for having my fog lights on last night. He didnt even stop his walk into Maccas to do it! Lol
I also tried to race a VZ SS at about 2:30am, kept giving hints I wanted to go, looked over, and he had pulled out his police badge and was showing me... I kinda slowed down after that! but HE had his fog lights on. Oh the hipocrassy! Lol

I' ve been done for my tint being too dark but it was legal. also i got pulled up by this young rookie that was in the highway patrol car with his senior partner and the cop looked at my pod filter and goes they're illegal coz they fuck your air to fuel ratio and then he goes they're shit anyways they dont even do anything. Apparently according to this cop he had a wrx at home an a pod filter fucked it up so he yellowed my old S13 for that. (he also seem to believe he was a mechanic)

Stock tint doesn't surprise me too much because Skyline's have really dark tint from factory. My mate just got Midnight Express done on his car and my tint is still darker.

Pod filters can fuck your A/F ratio depending on the car... And if your AFM is busted. But they won't wreck your car, they will just make it run lean. On a WRX or S13 it wouldn't do anything unless your AFM was broken, on something like an old ED Falcon then it does mess with the computer.

It just frustrates me when cops don't know what they are talking about and they sticker you for bullshit things. If the thing is illegal well then so be it, but paying money to go and get something factory or something you know is legal inspected... Shits me no end.

When i got stickered i got done for: GTR spoiler (apparently aftermarket), exhaust too low to the ground (turns out i have 125mm clearance), eyelids on my headlights, HID's are apparently a hidden NOS system (that one is my fav), car has "more electronics than a space ship" (cops exact words), pod filter... I think that's it but i can't remember. I took it to the pits and the inspector just laughed, only thing he told me i had to fix was a torn boot on my steering rack and my Isotta race pedals.
