I am organising a group buy on tyres, mainly Toyos and Continentals.
Reason is I need some new ones for the Cosmo for when I organise my new wheels and with the strong buying power of the Aussie dollar now is a great time to do it.
I know my tyres so whether you are looking for a good street performer, drag tyre or semi-slick I can advise and get a price.
Let me know if you are interested and if so what sizes and/or patterns. If there is no interest I will just get my own but I am more than happy to help out any WCC members.
NOTE: If you want cheap shit tyres this is not the thread for you, go see Scott's mate at Knob Jane's, this buy is for good quality rubber!!!

We can do it here at WA Suspensions but best you go see Bryn or Damo at Tyrepower in Osborne Park cheaper ($15ea premium, $35ea road force) and better equipment for balancing.

19" for Holden Commodore (pre-VE) would be 235/35R19
Toyo Proxes 4 in that size would be about $156ea + Shipping (Which I am attempting to cost up), even at $50 a tyre it works out at just $206ea for a brand new Toyo!
In comparison Toyo Proxes T1R would be ~$206 + shipping.

Hey Lachlan, how much for 2x 245/35 r18 and maybe 2x 235/35 r18? Also how much do you think shipping would cost per person, or is it too early to tell yet? Thanks man.

What car is that for? Very weird tyre sizes.
Do you mean 225/40R18 and 255/35R18? They are the sizes I am getting and would be good for an R33 GTS-T.
Also any particular tread pattern? ContiSportContact 3? Toyo Proxes T1R/R1R/R888???
Shipping price is based on weight but as you can imagine; more tyres, cheaper shipping.

Its for an R33 GTS-t on 18x9+23 rims. Im just worried about the front tyres scraping. i could get away with a 255/35 on the rear, but the fronts would have to be maximum 235/40 i think. How much longer until you place the order?
Edit: Not after a semi-slick. Just a good street tyre, so Toyo Proxes 4 or T1R maybe?

I Just need to swap my wheels over and see how the 235/40's sit on the front. How long till you place the order man?

Yeah, hopefully won't get slugged with GST on them.
The T1Rs are superior to the KU31 and defnitely the KU39. They are made in Japan and grippier. I had them in those sizes on my R34 GT-T and was very impressed.
