Ok, so the whole R31 thing went arse up when the transfer papers never made it to the DPI and rego was never paid. Oh well, shit happens.

SO! I need a new daily, and have settled on a Nissan Patrol GQ. Prefer ute, but SWB or LWB will be fine. 4.2L diesel is also prefered, however I may think about the TB42 (petrol) as well.
Budget is $4k at this stage, maybe a bit more, but I'd prefer not to spend that much so I dont leave myself short with any extra work it might need to make it reliable before my next pay check. Also transfer fees, I plan on paying them this time around.
If anyone sees anything, please let me know!! And if anyone wants an RB30E, R31 manual 5-speed conversion kit or R31 rolling shell, let me know. I'm parting it out so I can get some money back. (If I do buy an RB30 Patrol, the EFI shit off the R31 will be taken for the Patrol, otherwise it'll be sold with the engine).

Cos its worth more in pieces. With the suspension and brakes it needs, it's too expensive for me. Good car for cheap, but I've wanted a 4wd for many, many years, so this is the best time to do it!

2 issues with that one. 1) it's an auto, and 2) I dont have $10k!! I've checked Gumtree over and over, nothing there really tickles my fancy. Either kms too high, it's an MQ not a GQ, it they're auto Will be checking the Quokka on Thursday.

Auto is better. You have the low range box if you go off road, rest of the time, its a comfy daily!!!! (Would hate to have a manual daily.. =/ been there, done that!)

I recall you saying you sell R33 for 13 = you 26.

Or 3, I can see the money I have in my bank thus knowing what I can spend. 33 money goes towards house. I haven't sold it yet either.

BTW, there was like 4 or 5 patrols on gumtree. Search GQ patrol..

I already have. Only one I really like has done 470,000kms It's diesel though... Might have a look at it on Saturday if I can be bothered driving to Mandurah. I'll let you know how it goes. If you find anything else somewhere, community notice board, uni, ect, please let me know!
