Black, it would look insane. Silver looks nice but it also doesn´t stand out. Black would definitely turn heads.
Frontmount, but you already know my opinion on that lol.
Keep bonnet scoop. Is part and parcel of a WRX in my opinion, they look funny without. Helps keep under bonnet temps down even if there is no top mount.
Twinscroll turbo ftw (Socs, google split-pulse turbo). Big turbos and dyno-queen figures are all well and nice, but response is fun in it´s own way. Sort of depends what your plans are for the car though, I´ve seen you mention track hack? If that´s the case maybe big turbo is the way to go... But if it´s still gonna be street driven, I don´t think it´s much fun to be breaking every speed limit in Australia before you even hit full boost You can still get respectable figures from a responsive turbo!
Agree with Socs on the last ones, the wing looks good and AWD is great fun.

Go black, as Martin said, stand out a bit!
Front mount, all the way
Your bonnet scoop is kinda crazy... Maybe an 06 scoop instead? Or an RX bonnet without a wing?
As above, no wing ftw!! 06 STi roof spoiler could be interesting too!
Just saw a purple GC8 with an 06 bonnet scoop and no wing, looks awesome!
Response is more important then all out power. Driving a car with useable power is more fun then boasting about 1200hp at 8300rpm, but a redline at 8500.
If only WRXs could pull a fuse to convert from AWD to RWD like the 32 GT-R...

Black. Silvers boring.
Frontmount intercooler.
Keep bonnet scoop. Too std without it.
Something bigger to make decent figures.
Wing.
AWD helis.

Ok going to do some research on v-mounts and Garrett twinscrolls.
Im thinking reversed manifold-billet plenum.
V-mount and highmount turbo.
Black body, v6 sti wing, 05 scoop, custom bonnet for v-mount cooling.

Respray black or stay silver? Black, but be prepared for a lot of polishing.
Frontmount intercooler or topmount? Front, less heat soak from the engine.
Keep my bonnet scoop or change back to standard? Scoop purely for airflow, not looks.
Twinscroll turbo or something bigger to make decent figures? Twinscroll, better all-round performance.
Wing or no wing? WRC style.
RWD Burnouts or AWD helis? Torque split controller, best of both worlds.
