We won't be back from Toodyay before 1 mate, but you could just skip the Toodyay leg? Would be a pity because it will be a good cruise out there, but better than not coming along at all?

Haha nooo. One stud snapped as soon as I turned it (in the turbo outlet), the other studs (manifold/head) did basically the same, unwound a few threads then broke very easily, they felt super soft. Good thing I bought 12 from Nissan....going to replace the works. Juding by the back of the turbo this thing has had some extreme heat for prolonged periods of time (NOT me)....gotta give your mate a call tomorrow.
On another note, my turbo is different to R32 turbo's....mine is a V10 not V9, fins in inlet are different shape, placing and angle. Cartridge, outlet housing and actuator same though.

I know it wasnt you dude. Neither of us were thrashing it the other night. hopefully the engine is in good nick still

Nah it still runs all sweet even day after ... like I said after prolonged thrashing I gave it next day it had hard time idling for about 3-4 mins until it cooled down, that's about it. Inside of rear turbo housing is all discolored (like how clutches get rainbow colors) so yeah mustve copped it in Japan but still runs all sweet, hopefully better with leaks fixed and new O2 sensor.
