Thanks to Sue and Scott for there help with the BBQ and thankyou to everyone that turned up. These track days are really starting to kick off with the club. Top work Scotty in organizing the event. Thumbs up mate. I think everyone really enjoyed themselves.
I also got a bit fried from the sun. Lincoln and Marianne also copped sunburn. That shade thing doesn't stop ya from getting burnt but it beats standing direct in the sun.

HAHAHA, to be honest the V8EATER "SHOULD" go alot quicker than what i was doing today and that's not just tooting my horn. After having abit of scare with the brake failing earlier in the day, i took it easier going into the corners. I shit bricks the second time they failed at the corner were everyone stands. After that it was enough for me to say, i have had enough because something wasn't right and i can afford to do something stupid like roll or prang it. A brake upgrade package is a must. Standards brakes just don't hack the punishment. New tyres on the front would help too plus a suspension alignment. Its a pig to drive with it pulling to the left all the time. Lachlin can tell what its like as he's driven it before. It makes taking corners very hard to handle. All in good time she will be all sexy with its new bling. Cant wait to do the mods.I'm burnt as fk too lol.
I shall beat you next time....
I'm fuckin hooked lol.
The V8EATER is most certainly a track car and i love driving it. Catch me if you can James.
TIP: Mods make your car go faster!

I didnt realise that you could still get burnt by sitting under the shadecloth. Link didnt spend much time in the sun and I put sunscreen on when we went for a walk, but he got burnt, poor little thing. I got burnt too and I put sunscreen on at the same time as link. I wont trust shadecloth again.
Thanks so much Scott for organising the day for us all to enjoy and for organising the BBQ. What a great result with the fundraising, top job!!
Brett - Maybe you should upgrade the Brakes BEFORE you do anything else to the engine. Have the break pads been checked? maybe you have crappy cheap ones on it. (not very car minded, I know there is standard rotars, but maybe pad quality also makes a difference.)
