I have been chasing an NA RB25DE head for some time now, but I won't give up. Ask around if you know people who are in the game and see if you get a bite.
The head was used on the NA R32 Skyline and the A31 Cefiro.
Any help would be appreciated.

The R32 RB25DE has no VCT, doesn't it? Would a normal RB25 head with aftermarket camgears do the same thing?

theres only room for one rb30det around here
i know ur set on finding a rb25de off ye old r32 but yeah man i rekon u'll be waiting a while to find one and for a head which is 20+ years old u gotta laugh at the rediculous prices ppl ask for them.
u dont have to go down my road n shit, but i rekn u can have a freshend up det head welded n modded for same price/cheaper than a 25de
-also have heard horror stories of ppl buying r32 rb25 heads then turning out to be rb20 heads haha

RB25DET and RB26DETT head = rewiring, ECU, and other shit and expense.
RB25DE head = straight on with no fucking around or expense involved.
No brainer.

Meh... shes custom anyway so whats the difference. If it was me, i would still be using the 26 head. I wouldn't bother with the 25DE. By the time you find one, you could of had it wired up with using a 25det or 26dett head. I know its not the easiest straight forward approach, but i would still do it.
Anyways, thats just me and what i would do.

The 26 and the 25 valve sizes are the same. the 26 uses larger head bolts so the block needs to be drilled and tapped. Other things are involved such as the galleries, etc.
By the time I'm finished I would be adding $4k +/- $1k onto the build for absolutely fuck all gain. The 25 head will flow 600hp and that's more than enough for my needs.
The advantage of the 26 is sodium exhaust valves and solid lifters, but they would only be an advantage if I was chasing huge numbers, which I'm not. Even if I was, it would be cheaper to fit solid lifters and sodium valves than to pay for the other crap involved to make the 26 head work.
The money I would save by staying with the 25DE head would go towards a better turbo and other things.

So you can hook it straight up to the R32 loom without any modification.
Valve sizes are the same.
