Ingredients:
Cake:
125g plain flour
3 tablespoons baking powder
115g caster sugar
1 egg
1 banana
85g melted butter
250ml milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Sauce:
100g brown sugar
175ml water
2 tablespoon golden syrup
Method:
Cake:
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Add flour, baking powder and caster sugar in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
Set aside.
Whisk egg in a separate bowl.
Mash banana and mix.
Add butter and mix.
Add milk and mix.
Add vanilla essence and mix.
Add flour mix to bowl and mix well.
Pour ingredients into a small baking dish and set aside.
Sauce:
Place ingredients into a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until boiling and sugar completely dissolved.
Pour sauce over cake mix slowly.
Place in oven for 30-40 minutes.
