The reason for that was that if someone came and found other model cars there they might have assumed it was a different cruise either way, sorry.

I think the lesson learned here is to think things through before posting. I have always stated that our members should show some initiative and create their own cruises, and I stand by that today.
It's cool to create a themed cruise, such as a Skyline cruise, or an all Aussie cruise, In fact I'd like to see a few more of them to spice things up a bit. There are plenty of cruises that have no limits or restraints that others can participate in, and with summer coming up there should be more than enough to see us all through.
The thing you need to be aware of is that once you make a decision, stick by it. The more you chop and change things, the more others will come forward and ask for other exceptions to be made.
Another is to keep in mind where you post the cruise. Some clubs for example will have a few knobs in their club that can ruin it for some, but the majority may be generally sedate and understanding of our policies. Others like *** and *** have reputations for being absolute fuckwitts and pride themselves on being anti-social and ruining the scene for legitimate clubs. Dropping burnouts at meet points and playing doof shit at full volume is a way of life, and these cunts we can do without.
Socs, don't bash your teddy and walk away from planning cruises! Just keep in mind what I've stated above and think it through a little, and you'll have more success with your planning.
To all: We can't please everyone, but if there's a void that needs filling, jump in and create something that would suit your tastes if you feel the need to. This is after all a cruise club.

Always remember that I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me. An alcoholic is someone you don't like who drinks as much as you do. Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink. You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on. Stay busy, get plenty of exercise, and don't drink too much. Then again, don't drink too little. Time is never wasted when you're wasted all the time. One reason I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time. A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine, except that on a day without sunshine you can still get drunk. I stopped drinking, but only when I sleep. This is one of the disadvantages of wine: it makes a man mistake words for thought. Cigarettes and coffee: an alcoholic's best friend !!!! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they always worked for me. The consumption of alcohol may cause pregnancy. A man who exposes himself when he is intoxicated, has not the art of getting drunk. A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory. I drink to forget I drink. Alcohol is necessary for a man so that he can have a good opinion of himself, undisturbed be the facts. Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water. The whole world is about three drinks behind. I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Yeah cruise went rather well despite socs horrible directions to city west causing me to rock up late and get followed by an R35. Very intimidating.
Only bad part was getting pulled over. Apparently my Turbo, RWD starlet is a burnout car and I need to take it easy. Must be cutting the training for cops these days..

Firstly you should note Mally's sarcasm in his post. Secondly, a burnout was never done at a meetpoint. Thirdly, a turbo, RWD starlet...does that really sound likely to you?
It's a joke, a bit of wheel spin around a corner got me pulled over, and the cops jumped to conclusions about my car. Just like what you did then with the post. No need to get all worked up.

Happy Anniversary to the 1978 C210 Nissan Skyline!
Congratulations Socs for organising a fantastic cruise. It was good see 5 WWC club members supporting Socs. 4 of those members from one family, who also brought other people to support this cruise. As new club members to the WWC, and coming from another club, we've been on numerous cruises and this would be the best short cruise we have been on. Everyone was heaps friendly, looking at everyone elses cars, brings back the good ol days when people showed interest in other peoples cars. Everyone was on their best behaviour. No burnouts at all. Our friends in the Lancer enjoyed the cruise and cant wait for the next one. I think you'll find it wasn't the driver of the Lancer but the passenger that was chatting up Matt in the RWD Starlet. 1 other WWC member in the Colt, was good chatting with you on the 2-ways. And my Car isn't a lemon meringue pie!
Thanks for a great night and great cruise!
