Hey all,
I was petting my lovely pupple the other day and thought it was about time I spolt him soon with the warmer weather and took him to the dog beach... then I thought... a cruise where we all took our dogs with us and had some doggy fun would be cool. Sooooo was wondering what everyone else thought and if they would like to bring their pupples out for a drive and a play?

DATE: Sunday 5th December 2010
TIME: 12.00pm for a 12.30pm leave
MEET: Lake Monger reserve Car Park off Powis Street - Dogs must be on a leash at this venue.
This cruise involves bringing mans best friend out for an afternoon of fun. I dont care what car you bring, this is about the dogs. We will be stopping at a park and dog beach.
This is an afternoon cruise, Grab lunch before leaving or on your way to the meet point, there are no planned lunch breaks during the cruise.
You will need.... Dog, collar and lead, bowl and some water for the dog, maybe some treats if you want to spoil him/her. Towels, for dog and for the car seat, car seat cover if you require one, maybe a ball or toy.
Water/drinks and munchies for yourself.
bathers/towel/change of clothes, etc if you want to swim with your doggy.
DOGGY CONTESTS At the park, we will run a few competitions, such as, best educated dog, Best Agility dog, cutest dog, best dog trick etc. I will supply some prizes, nothing fancy though, this is just for fun and Im not rich. lol
Dogs must be under effective control by their owner when in public places.
Your dog is not considered under control if they:
chase or disturb wildlife, other dogs or people
act in a threatening or aggressive manner
attack or injure another animal or person
is a considerable distance from their owner(s) preventing response to verbal commands
Please remember your dogs mess is your responsibility.

Always remember that I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me. An alcoholic is someone you don't like who drinks as much as you do. Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink. You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on. Stay busy, get plenty of exercise, and don't drink too much. Then again, don't drink too little. Time is never wasted when you're wasted all the time. One reason I don't drink is that I want to know when I am having a good time. A meal without wine is like a day without sunshine, except that on a day without sunshine you can still get drunk. I stopped drinking, but only when I sleep. This is one of the disadvantages of wine: it makes a man mistake words for thought. Cigarettes and coffee: an alcoholic's best friend !!!! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they always worked for me. The consumption of alcohol may cause pregnancy. A man who exposes himself when he is intoxicated, has not the art of getting drunk. A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory. I drink to forget I drink. Alcohol is necessary for a man so that he can have a good opinion of himself, undisturbed be the facts. Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water. The whole world is about three drinks behind. I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.

The dogs dont really have to be social, if your dog is not good off the lead and cant resist seeing other dogs when off the lead its best to keep it on the lead. Extra long leads are good for swimming and stuff.
Does not really matter what you drive, this was more aimed at bringing the dogs out rather than the cars.
My dog gets the privledge of riding in my skyline, because he sits still on the seat nicely. A seat cover and a whole bunch of towels do the trick.

My dog is too cool to fraternise with the rest of your pets. I'm sorry but it's just the truth.
