I am looking to buy some ISC N1 coilovers and am just wondering if anyone has heard good or bad reports about them? they sound half decent and i can get them for a good price.

These are apparently okay, but I've also seen that a brand called BC Racing are supposed to be better value for money.
Other than that, I could only recommend HKS or Tein. $$$$$$$

Yeah i will either be purchasing the bc br coilovers or the isc n1's. I have noticed that when ever i look up about the isc n1's on other forums that the only people who are saying that they are great are very new member which seems a bit dodgy. So not sure yet. I am keen for a set of new ones so tein and hks are out of my price range. hoping to choose one next week.

I have got BC coilovers in my Yaris. Great value for money. Had them on for a year now and no problems what so ever. Took out the coilovers to adjust and clean them up last week, no leaks, no rust, and no cracks along the welds. Happy with them. But wouldnt mind trying the bigger brands in the market to feel the difference.

Rather closed minded my good sir, these days you get what you research for. Plenty of high quality parts available with having to lop off a leg, you just gotta be willing to to as much research as possible.

BC Racing = Relatively cheap, but outstanding reputation. Feels very similar to Tein Flex.

No offense but I think there is a bit of difference between having them fitted into your yaris than having them in my skyline

What i meant is having the jap brands in my yaris compared to the BC Coilovers. I wouldnt compare it to another car with different platform.
You could try second hand coilovers from KYP or similar.

na 2nd hand still lookin for 1k mark for hks ones ay jord, id go the isc with 12month warranty.

what is the difference between the gts4-gtr to the gtst? are the front and rear coilovers different or just the fronts?

Out of the 2 brands that you're looking at, I would look into the availability of spares in case you need to rebuild them later. When I did my HKS ones, it was a pain in the arse to source the seals and pillowballs.
The fronts are the same on the Gts-t and GT-R, but the rears use a saddle instead of a pin on the lower point.

BC Racing come with a 1 year warranty, and all parts are replaceable so they are fully rebuild-able or you can swap the springs if you want a harder or softer spring rate http://www.bc-racing...cessories.html.

They also have optional parts like damper adjustment extenders and pillowball top-mounts.

Lol I sound like a sales person for BC I just did like 3 weeks of research on them before I bought them so I know a fair bit about them.

Oh, that's heaps. Thought they were around 700mark. Guess it depends on condition too.
I think Evolution R are bringing in STD Coilovers. A lot of the American guys use them for their cars. Look well built too.

Martin you do sound like a sales person trying to persuade people into buying BC Coilovers. Its actually hard to get into contact with the BC guys. Want stiffer spring rates.

Lol I don't mean to, it's just because people don't really know about BC, where as I did a lot of research and now I have them and they are excellent, even WA Suspensions said they were impressed with them.

Just contact Darrion at Just Jap, he will be able to get you harder springs.

I have had a few posts up on different forums about the isc coilovers. All I heard people say were that bc was better but no one had actually fitted them to there car. I figured that they could be the worlds greatest coilovers and no one would know because they didn't give them a chance. But then a guy came forward and said that he purchased some and put them up for sale the next day because he said the quality was shit. So I this I will be buying some bc racing br coilovers on Monday. They have had a lot of praise as being a good entry level coilover for that kind of money. If I was still working in the mines I would have just bought some brand new hks or tein but times have changed

Its the same old game with spending money on cars. It always comes down to how much you can afford.

If you want to go fast and have the best, it all = $$$$$ and how much you can afford to spend.
