Nooo I driven plenty of turbo cars dude, all got way more lag than this....Need to take in cab vids. Only quicker responding turbo car I've driven was RB20DE+T, spool @ 2000rpm and full boost before 2800rpm, AND a couple of Skylines that have EBCs.

Dunno, feels alright to me. Still something is strange, but maybe it's cos I'm comparing my 2.5L to your 2L. Either way, it's just good to see it finally running!

Sound is way different to R32, it hits same boost, respondes quicker.
Possibly different size wheels ?
Anyway, I bought a whole bunch of shit today for the main project Cefiro.

Yeh definitely lag dude lol, when my car was stock I was getting full boost by ~3500rpm. Now it's full boost by about 4300rpm with the restrictive cat, it is meant to come on full boost by 3800rpm. I do have an EBC mind you, brings it down by about 200rpm.
Awesome that it is running now though! Really good effort man

I think neither of you muppets have been behind the wheel or an R32 or RB20DET powered car before.
NO LAG....well....less lag, alot less lag.
Went for some spirited driving today, it's still running relatively good.
Sometimes after a bit of juice (...) it has a hard time idling and doesn't like going past 5k but guessing that is to do with a few cracked hoses and the amount of heat that exhaust leak is letting off. Running stupidly rich because of that.
Love the number of heads the thing turns though...
Must drop that Mobile shitty oil and tap water and give it some more love.

Compared to what lol? I drove Tom's R32 before he put the RB25 in it, response was similar to what you said full boost by about 4000rpm. Don't see how that is not lag lol?

Whats with all the lols ?
I'm comparing 100% stock R32 RB20DET motor and turbo to 100% stock C33 RB20DET motor. Right down to the exhaust.
Response is definately different.

What we're saying is there is lag, but not as much as the 32. Which is quite interesting.
Drive a V8 to see what no lag feels like. Its pretty awesome, actually! Lol

^^ This.
AAh yes, V8s....my mate's old Statesman was soo nice to drive. Turbo's are nice but massive power delivery without that "thump" of some turbo/blower kicking in is much nicer.

Pics of lowest corner under flex.....rubs up on the guard itself I believe, as it's still well clear of the inside of the wheel arch and all the arms on the cradle.
Looks like I gotta flare the rear guards to fit these in properly.

Just needs a roll mate, not a flare. Go see AMF enterprises in Osborne Park, they'll sort you out.

Exhaust leak rectified, turbo sounds normal again but responds even faster.
Starts spooling as early as 2000-2200 and tonight it regularly saw 10PSI at 3000rpm.
Doesnt FEEL like a DE+T but might very well be. Must run a compression test on it ASAP and find out....
Had a hard time trying to get a video of tacho, boost gauge AND not crashing, all at the same time...but will get around to it.
