Finally all back in and wired up.
Turning over and injecting a fuckload of fuel but no spark, also having vacuum issues, and oil buildup in the throttle body.
Almost ready.
Is now half for sale as well.

Spade on relay for ground wire slipped off somehow, and fused 5 wires into one, damaged loom, cooked ECU, and blew ignition switch of back of ignition barrell.
That does it for me.
Moving car to mates houses, have ordered a factory manual + turbo C33 Laurel halfcut to the same address.
:\

Shit well at least now it's a full everything out, everything new back in job. Much, much easier! Set a weekend aside to do it all, supply the redbull and strippers and I'll be there!! Strippers might be a bit distracting though

As I said before, after buying halfcut, I have ZERO dollars left for this months pay cycle.
Not enough for red bull....not even enough to buy lunch through till next payday....I dunno how I'm going to make it if I can't sell shit off the halfcut.

I noticed you didnt mention strippers. Best save the money on them and spend it on the Redbull

Halfcut arrived on Friday night.
Dragged it in, quickly inspected it.
Happy and not happy.
It's very different to what I was told, but had some goodies on it and was cheap, so I'll bite my tongue.
Took me 3 hours and 25 minutes to rip to bits on Saturday.
Factory turbo motor, so no BoV.
Manual conversion done properly although the halfcut has been raped for parts, no centre consoles came with it
Pedal boxes, foot rest, etc all seem to have been bought straight from Nissan in Japan.
I moved the car to a mate's place which is more secure and better suited for yet ANOTHER engine/box swap.
It's been subject to a bit of recon by some shady looking folks, and someone has been trying to steal the plates (although on a plus, consequently my dog seems to have taught itself how and when to jump the fence next to my shed and lay next to the car until I get home)
34 Gearbox is on and ready to go with standard clutch.
25 has been pulled out.
20DET/manual ready to go in tomorrow night, wiring is all sorted and ready to rock and roll.
Hopefully running tomorrow night, and running properly (w/ intercooler + exhaust) by Wednesday/Thursday, and with some luck, the newly acquired LSD in as well

Well at least it's all getting sorted. Real shame to remove a 25 and replace it with a 20, but at least it'll run!!

Haha thanks dude.
Engine and box are IN and mounted.
Left to do:
Connect driveshaft
Connect ECU to loom
Mount SMIC and drill holes for intercooler piping
Find and fit downpipe
service + fluids
Optional left to do:
Fit LSD
Fit boost gauge
Could very well be running in 24 hours time, finally.

Well no dodgey rewiring on relays so that can't fail this time.
Motor is in mate's backyard, not too sure what we're doing with it.
Keeping it for now, might try to fix/rebuild the loom, and make it a +T, track down an ECU, and bolt on some basics, then sell it off, or keep it for a project car of some kind (my mate is keen to put it into something, I'm not really fussed).

Put it in a go cart! 200kg chassis plus motor would be epic.

I saw one of these:
With a turbocharged Holden 5L, full Holden driveline, power steering, etc. 8k... Was tempting lol

I was talking to the guy I bought this Ceffy off, he said in his old GTR, it ran a (stock internals) RB25DE NEO with some turbo on the side pushing just under 30PSI, made 4xx rwkw, and power band was STILL climbing at 8000rpm, that was a stable setup too, it ran like that for years with no drama's. So, turns out the NEOs can handle a shitload of boost with the right fuel setup, so I might be making a hypo 25 to go back into the white one at a later date if my mate doesn't buy it off me.

Yehhh, but on the other hand there are plenty of stories of people turbocharging their NA RB's and had them blow up on the dyno at 7psi.
I suppose if it's not your daily then it would be ok, but after researching it for a year I really wasn't keen on turbocharging the NA motor. Too risky.
